India Deploys Warships to Safeguard Fuel Ships in Gulf Region
India has dispatched additional naval warships to the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea to ensure the safe movement of vessels carrying fuel and LPG amid rising regional tensions.
The Indian Navy is deploying more than half a dozen warships, which will be positioned east of the Strait of Hormuz. These ships will not enter the narrow waterway but will monitor and escort vessels in nearby areas to enhance security.
According to government data, around 22 India-flagged ships are currently stranded in the Persian Gulf, highlighting the seriousness of the situation and the need for protective measures.
