Latest Update: Indian Army has invited online applications for Agniveer posts under the Agnipath Scheme 2026. Registration is open from 13 February 2026 to 1 April 2026. Eligible unmarried male candidates from Assam and other states can apply. Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) is tentatively scheduled in June 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidates should be between 17½ to 22 years (born between 01 Jul 2005 to 01 Jul 2009).
Educational Qualification

Selection Process
- Phase I: Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) – Computer Based Test
- Phase II: Recruitment Rally at designated ARO venues including Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement, Adaptability Test, Medical Examination & Document Verification
Note for Assam Candidates: Recruitment is being conducted through ARO Narangi (Lower & Western Assam), ARO Jorhat (Upper Assam), and RO (HQ) Shillong (Central Assam & other NE districts). Check your district and apply accordingly.
