The 400-year-old Barapullah Bridge, a historic structure from the Mughal period, has been successfully restored by the Archaeological Survey of India after years of neglect.

According to Superintending Archaeologist Rajkumar Patel, the bridge has been brought back to closely resemble its original Mughal-era design and is now open for public visits.

The restored monument lies beneath the modern Barapullah flyover, located behind the Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, offering visitors a glimpse into India’s rich architectural heritage.
