Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
Age Limit (as on 1st January 2026)
Most Constable posts: 18–25 or 18–26 years
Sub Inspector posts: 20–26 years

Age relaxation is available for OBC/MOBC (3 years), SC/ST(P)/ST(H) (5 years).
Educational Qualification
Constable (AB): Class 10 (HSLC) passed
Constable (UB): Class 12 (HS) passed
Sub Inspector: Graduate degree
Driver posts: HSLC + valid driving license
Fireman/Forest Guard: Class 12 (Science stream for some posts)
Grade IV/Safai Karmachari: Class 6 to Class 8 (varies)
Physical Standards
There are minimum height and chest requirements. Candidates also need to clear Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and medical examination.
