The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the category-wise
cut-off marks for recruitment to various engineering posts
under the Water Resources Department, Assam. The cut-off marks
include the marks of candidates shortlisted for the next stage as well as the
cut-off marks of candidates selected finally.

Tie-Breaking Rule
In the event of two or more candidates securing equal aggregate marks in
the final merit, the tie is resolved in accordance with the principles
laid down in the Assam Public Service Commission (Conduct of Business)
Procedure, 2019, as amended up to 4th December, 2021.

Candidates who score higher marks in the written/screening test shall
be ranked higher.
-
If the written/screening test marks are also the same, the candidate
senior in age shall be ranked higher.
