Family Dispute Between Vijaypat Singhania and Gautam Singhania
The conflict between former Raymond Group Chairman Vijaypat Singhania and his son Gautam Singhania began after Vijaypat transferred his entire stake in the company to Gautam in 2015.
According to Vijaypat, the relationship deteriorated soon after. He alleged that Gautam betrayed him by taking control of family assets and even forcing him out of their residence in 2017. The dispute turned legal as tensions escalated between the two.
The conflict deepened further when Gautam reportedly attempted to stop the publication of Vijaypat’s autobiography, The Incomplete Man, which detailed his side of the story and the fallout within the family.
