Jammu & Kashmir Hosts Its First-Ever International Marathon

Jammu and Kashmir successfully आयोजित its first-ever international marathon on Sunday, drawing participation from nearly 4,000 runners from India and abroad. The event marked a significant step in promoting sports and tourism in the region.

Satish Sharma acknowledged the existing gaps in sports infrastructure but expressed optimism about future development. He stated that efforts are underway to elevate sports standards in the region, adding that under the leadership of Omar Abdullah, more major sporting events are expected to be hosted in Jammu in the coming years.
