Michael B. Jordan Wins First Best Actor Oscar; Jessie Buckley Takes Best Actress
At the 98th Academy Awards, Michael B. Jordan won his first Best Actor Oscar for his performance in Sinners. It was Jordan’s first-ever nomination, and he triumphed over fellow nominees Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Wagner Moura and Ethan Hawke.
Meanwhile, Jessie Buckley secured her first Best Actress Oscar for portraying William Shakespeare’s wife in Hamnet. She beat strong contenders including Emma Stone, Kate Hudson, Rose Byrne and Renate Reinsve to win the award.
