UP Women’s Commission Urges CM Yogi to Ban Badshah Over ‘Tateeree’ Controversy

Aparna Yadav, Vice-Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Women Commission, has written to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath requesting a ban on events featuring rapper-singer Badshah in the state.

The appeal comes amid controversy over his latest Haryanvi song “Tateeree.” The track has been accused of containing objectionable references to women and allegedly includes school-going minors inappropriately in its music video.
